BioI'm old - or so I get told. However, I'm a firm believer that age is simply a state of mind and if you can't still enjoy life throughout the years, then what have you got left?

Writing is a past time for me. Sometimes I manage to write something good, other times I don't. Some are experiments for me, simple little ideas (and certainly not always good ones!), or whatever else my crazy little muse decides to spurt out. Sometimes it is very structured, sometimes completely haphazard. The joys of having a non-linear mind - it just goes where ever it takes me!
So, yes, writing is an interest - for the most part I enjoy it. However I am certainly not a person who can produce on demand or to a deadline. If the muse is not being co-operative then it just ain't gonna happen.
My good friend, Despina, and I have decided to have a joint livejournal space to load our various stories as some we don't end up posting elsewhere so it a sort of back-up location for us out of the mainstream fanfiction sites. You can find us here: http://jaded-despair.livejournal.com/
The rest of my life - well, between running my own consulting company, working full-time (and more!) as a contractor which requires me to spend most of my time working away from home so it seems that I am perpetually at airports, on planes or driving, also having most of my weekends taken up with the reports and administration, what do I do with the rest of my time? Well, I'm also a swimming teacher during summer for a month, I train swimming teachers at various times during the year, and in between that spend my time doing things around my house and yard to get it to the stage that I want it to be. And then, when I can squeeze it in, I pursue my other passion which is travel.
So I guess I keep pretty busy in general!
